Why Jasminer?

Jasminer ASIC miners are known for their energy efficiency and favorable purchase price, making them a cost-effective option for mining Ethash coins like LuckyBits. These devices deliver excellent hashrates while consuming less power than many other ASIC miners, reducing overall electricity costs and increasing profitability.

Prerequisites

• Jasminer ASIC Miner: Ensure your Jasminer model is compatible with Ethash (most Jasminer models support Ethash-based coins).
• Mining Pool: A mining pool compatible with LuckyBits.
• LuckyBits Wallet: A wallet address for receiving your mined rewards.

Step 1: Jasminer Setup

• Connect to Power and Internet: Connect the Jasminer to a power source and your network via Ethernet.
• Access the Jasminer Interface: Find the Jasminer IP address on your network (often accessible via your router’s device list) and enter it in a browser to open the miner’s web interface.
• Log In to the Miner: Default credentials are often admin/admin. Refer to the Jasminer manual for specific login details.

Step 2: Configure Miner for LuckyBits

• Go to Mining Settings: In the Jasminer interface, locate the Mining Configuration section (usually under “Miner” or “Settings”).
• Enter Pool Information:
• URL: Enter the mining pool URL compatible with LuckyBits. For example: stratum+tcp://pool_url:port
• Worker Name: Use your wallet address as the worker name (example: 0xYourLuckyBitsWalletAddress).
• Password: This is usually not required for Ethash mining. If prompted, leave it blank or enter x.
• Select the Mining Algorithm: Ensure that the algorithm is set to Ethash, as LuckyBits uses Ethash for proof-of-work.
• Save and Apply Settings: Click “Save” or “Apply” to save your mining configuration. The Jasminer will begin connecting to the pool.

Step 3: Monitor Mining Status

• Verify Pool Connection: Go to the Miner Status page in the Jasminer interface. Check for active hashrate and accepted shares to confirm the miner is properly connected to the pool.
• Track Earnings: Log in to the mining pool website (if available) to monitor your earnings, payout settings, and worker status.

Step 4: Optimize for Efficiency

• Manage Power Settings: Jasminer miners are highly energy efficient, but it's still important to ensure stable power for consistent operation.
• Monitor Temperature: Keep the miner in a cool, ventilated space to prevent overheating. Most ASIC miners have a recommended operating temperature range.
• Track Profitability: Adjust settings based on LuckyBits difficulty and rewards structure. With Jasminer’s efficiency, you may find an advantage even when network conditions fluctuate.
